Why extraction speed matters more than anything
Every hour standing water sits, it migrates: into subflooring, up drywall, under cabinets. After 24–48 hours, mold colonization begins — and in Hampton Roads' humidity, it starts on the early side of that window. Truck-mounted extraction removes hundreds of gallons per hour; nothing else in the process matters as much as getting the bulk water out first.
What our extraction service includes
We arrive with truck-mounted extractors (far more powerful than portables), weighted carpet extraction tools, and submersible pumps for deep water. We extract from carpet, hard flooring, crawl spaces and basements, then take initial moisture readings that set the baseline for the drying phase.
What to do before we arrive
Shut off the water source if you can do it safely. Kill power to affected rooms at the breaker. Move valuables, documents and electronics to dry ground. Don't wade into water near electrical outlets, and don't use a household vacuum — that's how people get hurt.
